Back to basics
Two weeks ago I started playing touch rugby, after the initial four times of going. I notice that I enjoyed it. Though my body didn't enjoy it at all. I began to notice that a couple of days afterwards my body wasn't recovering as quickly to the soreness. Though most of the touch players would say that is normal just learning to play.
However, I am going to switch up to walking and getting back to doing DDR more. It has been more than 4 months since the last time I actually went into workout mode. Tonight I did about 290 Kcal worth of DDRing. This is about an hour. Now compare that to touch rugby which does 700 Kcal in an hour. Yeah it would make more sense to do the rugby stuff more often. Though with DDR and walking it is less impart on my body, especially my ankles. Which surprises me. Thought that my knees would give me more issues.
On the bright-side of things I am able to walk more without feeling out of breath. An going up the stairs is not such a hard thing to do.
That reminds me, still have been working on the water intake. Along with keeping the sweets down to small amount. This has made me focus on making things for when I want something sweet. An cooking better meals. It is going to be interesting to have to make the changes to live a healthier life.
So here's to trying new things. An for at least for trying to get out of my comfort zone.
Cheers!
