Dance. Dance.
So now that I have another DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) pad in my life. Spent the last week getting back into the groove of dancing. Have owned several of the games over the years, though got out the habit of using it. Pad making its way to the storage unknown. Now that I have another pad, I'm happy with getting up and moving. Plus not to mention when you put the game on extreme mode, it will have you sweating out. Good cardio workout.
The games purpose is to get you the player to keep up with the dance steps on the screen. The great thing is that there are many different levels of playing to choose from. If you're a beginner, you can choose songs with fewer steps( about 1-3). Where as on the extreme mode, you'll have songs with about 7-9 steps in them. For these it is great to turn on the options so the steps appear in 4/4 time. If you are like me, you'll want to avoid the double jumps. All I have to say is that I like my knees, its why me and running don't mesh.
Now I have noticed that you will need to work on pacing with this. Starting out with some beginner songs then working into extreme.
As for the water drinking getting in 2-3 cups about 10oz's each a day helps. I know I need more, though fighting off the tea and coffee is getting less hard.
Have switched back to making smoothies more often. An found a great protein blend too.
Well cheers.
