Squats and stuff!

If I am looking to do less impacting exercises, then squats is the way to go. Need to 15 for my starting day. Though move up to 5 extra, twice a day perhaps on M/T/F/S/S. Leaving W/Th as off days to spend with Patrick. Though if I were to stick with a certain number of squats per day would that be better?

In a bit of lady health news, my flow is now more regular. So here's to exercise.
Now to get in gear and drink more smoothies in the morning, skipping the need to eat something unhealthy in the morning. Super proud of the fact that I am not eating hordes of candy as meals. Think along the lines of 3kg bags of costco bags of candy. Now it is weening myself off of other sweets. Though the other hard part is catching the over eating again. There are days where I find myself oinking out hard.

From last time still doing D.D.R.Taking it down a notch to burn about 300 calories twice a day. This meets the goal of burning 600 calories in day along with the calories I would burn from doing the squats. Which got me to thinking about how many calories do you burn doing squats? It is 0.096 x (your body weight)= is the amount of calories you would burn.
For me it is 0.096 x 328lbs=  31.488. This may not seem like alot. Yet if I were to do 50 squats per day. Twice a day I would end up burning 3148.8 calories.

Now what am I going to do with this? Go for it and try my damnedest to stick to it.

Cheers!

Back to basics

Two weeks ago I started playing touch rugby, after the initial four times of going. I notice that I enjoyed it. Though my body didn't enjoy it at all. I began to notice that a couple of days afterwards my body wasn't recovering as quickly to the soreness. Though most of the touch players would say that is normal just learning to play.

However, I am going to switch up to walking and getting back to doing DDR more. It has been more than 4 months since the last time I actually went into workout mode. Tonight I did about 290 Kcal worth of DDRing. This is about an hour. Now compare that to touch rugby which does 700 Kcal in an hour. Yeah it would make more sense to do the rugby stuff more often. Though with DDR and walking it is less impart on my body, especially my ankles. Which surprises me. Thought that my knees would give me more issues.

On the bright-side of things I am able to walk more without feeling out of breath. An going up the stairs is not such a hard thing to do.

That reminds me, still have been working on the water intake. Along with keeping the sweets down to small amount. This has made me focus on making things for when I want something sweet. An cooking better meals. It is going to be interesting to have to make the changes to live a healthier life.

So here's to trying new things. An for at least for trying to get out of my comfort zone.
Cheers!
